Whole Body Vibration Therapy

If you are looking for a new, more effective way to improve your lymphatic drainage, consider WHOLE BODY VIBRATION PLATE THERAPY. Whether you are dealing with a medical concern or just looking to maintain your current health, using a vibration plate, even passively for a few minutes a day, will easily stimulate your lymphatic system and easily get the lymph fluid moving.

WHOLE BODY VIBRATION PLATE, commonly referred to as a “vibration machine,” is a platform that vibrates at a specific frequency to activate your circulatory, lymphatic, and nervous systems simultaneously.

If our lymphatics have been damaged or compromised, lymphatic fluid often pools and cannot drain properly in areas of the body. Even stress and anxiety can have a negative impact on our lymph nodes and lymphatic system overall. Unlike our blood, which is pumped by our heart through a system of blood vessels called the circulatory system, the lymphatic system has no pump and is best stimulated by moving your body by being active. Regardless of your current level of health, the Whole Body Vibration Plate offers a way for almost anyone to get moving with little effort on your part.

How Does This Work?

As you sit or stand (always with knees bent!) on the WHOLE BODY VIBRATION PLATE, your muscles will contract and relax dozens of times each second, which is why doing squats on a WHOLE BODY VIBRATION PLATE requires so much more energy than doing them on the ground. Vibration can help oxygen and nutrients get to your muscles and other tissues more efficiently, aiding flexibility, blood flow, and muscle recovery after exercise. You can use WHOLE BODY VIBRATION PLATE training to get the lymphatic and circulatory benefits of movement, or you can perform simple exercises on the vibe plate to strengthen your muscles.

Reduced swelling and tightness are often seen quickly, helping relieve associated aches, pains, and other sensation issues. A feeling of relief and relaxation are common, and some feel a tingling or slight itch as the fluid moves and flows.

Within a day or two after, you may notice a continued reduction of swelling and pain and perhaps an increase in urination and bowel movements as our lymphatic system aids in our body's natural detoxification process.

Some have areas of increased swelling, which often helps identify sluggish or blocked areas. Not as common are headaches or slight nausea, which may also be related to toxicity, medications, dehydration, or other health factors. All of these tend to be short-term and improve as your lymph moves more efficiently.

Getting the Most Out of Your Workouts

Here Are Some Simple Steps to Get You Started:

01

Start with 30-second to 1-minute sessions two or three times a week, and (if desired) you can slowly work your way up to 15-minute sessions. Don't exceed 15 minutes on a vibration plate.

02

Keep your knees bent at about a 30-degree angle as you stand on the vibrating plate. Engage in this position for as long as possible, or try holding different positions. Other popular poses include deeper squats or placing your hands on the vibe plate (feet on the floor) in a plank position. Hold this for as long as you can without exceeding 15 minutes!

03

Before using a WBV Plate or other vibration machine, contact your physician if you are pregnant, have foot, knee, or hip implants, lumbar disc problems, or have acute inflammations or infections.

Getting a dynamic workout doesn’t have to be complicated or time-consuming. Specially designed vibrations work your muscle fibers, whether you’re standing still with knees bent or switching poses.
